I read A Christmas Carol in school and in college. It was not really my favorite, perhaps the archaic wording or just Ebenezer's crankiness put me off? I watch the movies though (the serious ones and the comedies like "Scrooged.")
I am definitely interested in a female viewpoint on the story, so I purchased the ebook to read along with you.
