Spring Cleaning

So what do you consider essential spring cleaning? And do you have an organized approach to it?Cleaning the closets kicks spring cleaning off for me. I ruthlessly went through my clothing closet and coat closet last weekend. If I hadn't worn it in the last year it was donated. (I was glad to find a local church that collects clothing and distributes them free to those who may need them.) Now I'm trying to find the energy for all the scrubbing and dusting that needs done. I'm not a neat freak and…See More

Renee B. replied to Carrie Campbell's discussion If you had a work, chore and kid-free day to binge watch a series, which one would it be?
"I just finished season three of Downton Abbey because I was home with bronchitis. BTW watching that tear inducing season did not help my congestion. Anyway, I'm soldiering on to season 4."

Renee B. replied to Carrie Campbell's discussion What do you think about this article on removing kitchens from houses?
"Nifty idea....but I question whether it would work in real life. I really like to cook, but I know lots of other people in my area do not and rely on processed ready to eat fare that I would prefer to avoid. I also know I have two cats and as clean…"

Renee B. commented on the course Creative Writing 101: The Lost Art of Letter Writing
"Are they pen-pals from way back or are you and others choosing to write letters in place of emails, etc? I don't think I have written or received a true letter since the early 2000s. I used to keep boxes of old letters (not cards) until a fire…"
